GCSE Geography
GCSE Geography revision, Rivers and Coasts. A Geography eLearning resource designed to teach and help with your revision for your GCSE geography exams at Keystage4.
I hope this content will build on your current knowledge and prove a valuable and engaging resource for independent GCSE revision and learning.
Geography is a big topic and eduonlinelive has currently focuses on rivers and coasts.
Learn how constructive and destructive waves form, and how erosion is is constantly re-shapping our coastlines and how this is influenced by the geology and types of waves to create new landforms such as a wave cut notch and caves arches stacks and stumps. These processes are continual and work in a complete cycle; erosion, transportation, deposition.
The rivers topic focuses on vertical erosion in the upper course, and the transportation and erosion processes down through the middle and lower course to the mouth of the river.
I have also provided some quizzes and drag and drop games by which i hope will help you to learn essential Geography keywords and terminology.
Enjoy the site! - Hopefully more topics will feature soon.
